1 Who's Behind This

Kahani Suno (kahanisuno.fun) is operated by Amit Kumar Giri — an individual based in India. This is not a registered company. There is no legal entity, no corporate office, and no team — just one person who built and maintains this platform.

I also run cybersecmastery.in (a cybersecurity education site), which is a completely separate project with no connection to Kahanisuno.

When these Terms say "I", "me", or "Kahani Suno" — it means me, Amit Kumar Giri, personally. When they say "you" — it means you, the person using the platform.

2 Accepting These Terms

By using Kahanisuno — whether you just visit the website, create an account, use the Android app, or subscribe to Premium — you're agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kahanisuno. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

3 What Kahani Suno Is

Kahanisuno is a Hindi audio streaming platform. Here's what it actually offers:

• Stream Hindi audio stories, podcasts, and audiobooks online
• Save bookmarks and track your listening history
• Browse by genre, author, or series
• Create a free account to personalise your experience
• Download the Android app for offline listening (Premium feature)
• Subscribe to Premium for ad-free listening and exclusive content

The platform is provided on a best-effort basis. I maintain it solo, so while I try to keep it up and running reliably, I can't guarantee 100% uptime.

4 Your Account

Creating an Account

• You must be at least 13 years old
• Use a real email address — fake emails mean I can't help you if something goes wrong
• One account per person. Sharing your account login with others isn't allowed
• Don't create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or premium features

Keeping It Secure

• You're responsible for keeping your password private
• If someone else gets into your account, contact me immediately at support@kahanisuno.fun
• I'm not responsible for losses caused by someone else accessing your account

5 Premium Subscription

Premium unlocks the full Kahanisuno experience:

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose)
• Payment is processed through the payment gateway shown at checkout
• Prices include applicable taxes where required

Cancellation & Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription anytime — it won't auto-renew at the next billing date
• After cancellation, Premium features stay active until the end of your paid period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If something went wrong, email me and we'll sort it out fairly
• I'll give you at least 30 days notice before any price increase

My Content

All audio content on Kahanisuno is either produced by me, licensed from creators, or contributed with explicit permission. The platform design, code, and branding are my own work. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any of it without permission.

Copyright Complaints

If you believe something on Kahanisuno infringes your copyright, please follow the process outlined in my DMCA Policy. I take these seriously and respond promptly to valid notices.

Your Content

If you ever submit feedback, reviews, or suggestions — you keep ownership of that content, but you give me permission to use it to improve the platform. I won't sell your feedback or attribute it publicly without asking.

8 Disclaimers

Kahanisuno is provided "as is" and "as available". I don't make any promises beyond what's written here.

• I can't guarantee the platform will always be available or error-free
• Audio content availability may change — I may add or remove series at any time
• I'm not responsible for issues caused by your internet connection, device, or browser
• Third-party links or services (like payment processors) have their own terms — I'm not liable for them

9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law:

• I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Kahanisuno
• If you have a valid claim against me, my total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim
• Free users: my total liability is ₹0, since no payment was made

This isn't about being unfair — it's about being realistic. I'm one person with limited resources, not a corporation.

10 Termination

You can leave anytime

Delete your account from your profile settings, or email me at support@kahanisuno.fun. I'll remove your data and close the account promptly.

I may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the platform for illegal or harmful activity
• Abuse, harass, or damage the platform or other users
• Fail to pay a Premium subscription fee

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved under Indian jurisdiction.

I'd always prefer to resolve issues directly — email me first before escalating anything. Most problems can be sorted out with a simple conversation.

12 Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms occasionally. When I do:

• The "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated
• For significant changes, I'll send registered users an email notification
• Minor wording or clarification changes won't get individual emails

Continued use of Kahanisuno after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes. If you don't agree, you can delete your account — no hard feelings.
