1. Our Commitment to Copyright Protection

Kahani Suno ("the Platform") operates an audio storytelling and podcast streaming service. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA"), the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and international copyright conventions.

It is our strict policy to respond promptly to clear, formal notices of alleged copyright infringement and, where appropriate, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in accordance with our terms of service.

3. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a legally valid Notice of Infringement with us, the copyright owner or authorized representative must provide a written communication containing substantially the following elements (pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A specific description or title of the copyrighted story, text, or audio track claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
2. Identification of the Infringing Material: The exact URL, series name, or episode link on Kahani Suno where the allegedly infringing material is hosted so our agents can locate it.
3. Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy and Perjury Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
6. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

4. Notice and Takedown Actions

Upon receipt of a complete and valid DMCA takedown notice, Kahani Suno will:

• Expeditiously remove or disable public access to the identified audio or text material.
• Promptly forward a copy of the notification to the uploader, narrator, or creator who made the material available.
• Inform the uploader of their right to submit a Counter-Notification under the law.

5. Submitting a Counter-Notification

If you believe that your audio content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a formal Counter-Notification to our Designated Agent. The counter-notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal or competent courts for your judicial district.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, Kahani Suno maintains a policy that provides for the termination of user accounts, narrator profiles, and platform privileges for individuals who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
